Meet Your Certified Piano Technician, Alissa Ressel
A Legacy of Music and Precision
My relationship with the piano started at home in Massachusetts, sitting at the keys of a 1949 Baldwin Acrosonic. That piano was a gift from my grandfather to my mother, and it was the instrument I learned on growing up. Today, as I restore that same heirloom—replacing key materials and refining its action—I am reminded that a piano isn’t just a machine; it’s a piece of family history.
With a B.A. in Music from UMass Amherst, I spent years developing a professional ear for theory and performance. Now, as a Certified Piano Technician, I combine that musical sensitivity with technical precision to help families in Massachusetts keep their own instruments in peak condition.
I founded Seven Hills Piano Service to ensure that every piano I touch is treated with the same care and respect I give to my own family’s legacy.
